Our Client is a very successful, well established, independent SI business with a strong focus on fieldwork and contracting. They have several UK offices and now wish to build a strong team in a lovely newly decorated business unit situated in a picturesque village between York and Leeds. They are actively seeking good Senior Engineering Project Manager and general staff at all levels to build up the team in this location where they already have lots of work.
We have worked with this client over many years and there is generally low staff turnover. It’s a fun place to work, and staff are richly rewarded with a general bonus scheme, hybrid working etc.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing multiple projects or components of projects, taking responsibility for own
resource and potentially resource allocation of others, managing subcontractors,
quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any
Mentoring, Coaching and technical development of more junior staff
Aid with the monitoring and appraisal of the performance of personnel
Leading by example to achieve goals and championing quality.
Participating in the resolution of project technical issues.
Collaborating with other engineers to ensure the integrity of the delivery.
Manage compliance of deliverables for which you have responsibility, including
RAMS/CPP, fieldworks, testing, reports and specifications with project requirements.
Enhancing teams reputation by delivering high quality work on time and budget.
Commercial input to projects (contract, invoicing, debt management, client
management etc) relating to projects for which responsible.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients on projects.
