Our client is seeking an Offshore Geotechnical Engineer
Joining in Poland 19/06/2022 5/9 weeks negotiable.
GWO training will be done onboard from 20/06 prior to project commencement.
Geotechnical engineer for offshore drilling vessel to manage data quality, report findings, and liaise with drill teams to progress boreholes during offshore investigation. Previous experience working on a drilling vessel required. Duties include:
Working to ISO 19901-8
QC of all data according to relevant standards and technical specifications
Liaising with OPM, client representative and drill team to progress operations
Processing, Interpreting, and reporting CPTu data
Handling push samples according to relevant standard
Sample logging to ISO 14688
Performing basic offshore laboratory tests to relevant ISO standard moisture content, density, torvane, pocket penetrometer, motorised lab vane, undrained unconsolidated triaxial
Producing borehole logs and other deliverables
